Current availabilities:

 

HTG Consultants has an entry-level position for a new college graduate or a trainee available to assist in and perform appraisals, market studies and feasibility studies covering senior housing and healthcare assets nationwide. As a national firm focused on providing appraisal and market analysis services to the senior housing industry since 1998, HTG has created a market niche serving a varied clientele base.

 

Daily responsibilities can differ, with a sampling of the varied tasks including:

*         On-line research and due diligence;

*         Travel and property tours used to obtain market data for our analysis;

*         Researching and developing data for comparative analysis;

*         Writing appraisal and market study reports that support our analysis and conclusions;

*         Developing financial models to create value opinions for real estate and their operations; and

*         Related tasks that aid in the development of our analysis.

 

Opportunities for advancement exist within our firm, including company-paid professional education to equip each team member with a growing understanding of the appraisal industry, while advancing your opportunities to become a state-certified commercial appraiser.

 

Some travel is required (approximately 10%). Currently, HTG is working via hybrid home/office approach, relying on web-based tools (MS 365, etc.) to effectively communicate, collaborate and execute our engagements. Therefore, candidates have some flexibility to work from home, though in-person training is a vital part of the "on-the-job" learning process. New associates are entitled to paid holidays and accrued vacation time, full healthcare benefits and participation in a profit-sharing 401(k), along with the potential for year-end bonuses. Salary will commensurate with experience for those with prior experience in real estate appraisal, with the starting base salary is $49,000 to $51,000 for new college graduates.

 

Ideally, the candidate will possess a combination of the following skills:

 

*         Strong quantitative skills and aptitude are essential

*         Excellent written and oral communication skills are vital

*         Strong organizational abilities and time-management are key

*         Flexibility, self-direction and strong decision-making traits are desirable
